1. THE GUARDIAN OF MYSTERY
To be honest, I mainly prefer Usagi in layers and it seems like the 90s anime did to, cus that's most of what she wears but this is just too good to deny. Garish colors though.
2. THE GUARDIAN OF WISDOM
Of all the characters, Ami probably has the highest miss ratio, as she spends most of the last 3 seasons dressed as a grandma, which is a shame cus she has a lot of good outfits in the first two seasons, this being my favorite. Think it's only in Doom Tree.
3. THE GUARDIAN OF WAR
Rei's wardrobe is kind of unfortunate in the 90s anime, from S onwards she almost exclusively wears red...which sure is her color but she's not really a Red character you know ? I mainly love her shrine and school outfits, but this is probably the best she looks in red and it's a lot more unique then those two.
4. THE GUARDIAN OF PROTECTION
If this isn't your favorite, I'll be honest, I don't actually know if I can talk to you.
5. I, AINO, MINAKO
Minako probably has the weirdest fashion of the inners, she's either wearing dresses which doesn't really fit her character, or she's wearing 5 different layers of denim. I actually like both of her denim outfits though, but both are kind of ugly color wise. I really love this outfit, and it helps that it's not too dissimilar from stuff I wear irl.
6. THE GUARDIAN OF THE FUTURE
There's not a whole lot to work with with Chibiusa, she's basically stewie griffin. I love her stars manga school outfit though.
7. THE GUARDIAN OF TRANSITION
I don't think Setsuna has a single good outfit in the 90s anime, I had to get one from the manga. Ikuhara oppressed another brown woman!
8. THE GUARDIAN OF FLIGHT
This strikes the perfect balance between really dorky, and really cool, kinda like Haruka herself! The cross is a great touch.
9. THE GUARDIAN OF EMBRACE
I'll be honest, I love pretty much every Michiru outfit ? I had a huge struggle picking my favorite, so I kind of copped out, but this is probably the best School design next to Rei. It's pretty much perfect, and perfect for her character.
10. THE GUARDIAN OF RUIN AND REBIRTH
I really, really, really, dislike the 90s anime decision to dress Hotaru in outfits that are all black and cover everything. It makes sense in the manga, given her backstory, but in the anime it's like she's trying to be quirky. This outfit is really Quirky too, but it has a bit more personality.
